About
Hi, I'm Jen!
I live in Washington, DC and work in Internal Communication for a global consulting and development firm.
My background is in Political Science, International Development, and Gender Policy. I hold a M.A. from The George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs. From studies and travel, I'm fluent in Haitian Creole, hold a B.A. in French, and have had 1-2 semesters of Mandarin and Arabic.
From one day to over a year, I've spent time in: Haiti, Morocco, New Zealand, Nigeria, France, Australia, Fiji, Austria, Germany, Brazil, Dubai, Montreal, Istanbul, and Prague. While I grew up across from a cornfield in the Midwest, since I was 13 I've sought to travel, learn new languages, and experience other cultures. This led to a natural love of capturing photos, stories, and memories to share, and I spend my day job and a lot of my free time doing just that.
